Focusing on pre-production and touring the role will involve organising live events and tours for bands including Reverend and the Makers, Taio Cruz, Noah and the Whale, Ida Maria and many others.
There will also be the opportunity to gain some hands on management experience with one of the UK’s finest live bands The Brute Chorus.

The Role:
‘Production and Management Intern’
Hours: 10:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the work involved it may be necessary to work outside these hours, including some potential evening and weekend live shows.
Duration: 4-6 weeks (shorter work experience placements are also possible)
Please note the position is unpaid, but a daily travel and sustenance allowance are provided. Applicants will need to have accommodation in London.

The Brute Chorus are pleased to announce they will be releasing their fourth single ‘All The Pilgrims’ on Sunday 31st May. Recorded live at The Roundhouse on February 28th this is the first of all the songs recorded that night to be released to the public and is a taster of more to come as the release of their debut album draws ever nearer.
The band rehearsed non-stop for four weeks above a Dalston pub in preparation for the live album recording and enlisted the help of Mercury nominated producers Choque Hosein (Black Star Liner) and Victor Van Vugt (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Gogol Bordello, PJ Harvey and Sons & Daughters) for the project.

The band are currently in the process of booking summer dates and have already toured England and Scotland extensively this year as well as recording a live set for The JD Sessions due to air on Channel 4 on May 29th. An exciting and flexible work experience opportunity has arisen with a venue/record label based in London.
They are looking for 1-2 people. The successful candidate(s) will work with the label artist(s) on a promotional front generally and also at live events.
Conventional street team work is a part of this role (promotion, email sign ups, selling merchandise) which will also encompass working within the label and venue to develop the promotions, putting forward your own creative ideas and possibly more depending on the passion of the individual and the success of the person in this role. You would be working on release campaigns with the label giving lots of dynamic input.
There is a lot of emphasis on developing promotional and management skills within this role where you will work with a small self-motivated team.
This opportunity would suit someone based in London who is looking to expand their music interests into promotions / live sector and who is not afraid of trying new challenges and willing to make the role their own. A passion for rock/pop is ideal and it would be a perfect starting place for someone looking to develop their skills in this industry.
A good level of English, maths and I.T. are required.
This will be an unpaid position initially but expenses might be covered. As your role increases so will your income potential.
