Neon Street to produce Cambridge Folk Festival podcast
Neon Street Marketing announce today their entry into podcasts market with a deal to provide daily podcasts for the Cambridge Folk Festival during the entire weekend of the world famous event.
Phil Pethybridge of Neon Street is pleased to be teaming up with such an established event; “We have been looking to expand into this field for a while now as we have a range of skills and experience working within the radio industry so the production of podcasts is the next logical step. The partnership with the folk festival is an exciting one we are looking forward to as it will allow the whole world to experience the festival “
Neil Jones, Marketing Manager of the Cambridge Folk Festival said ‘We are delighted to be working with Neon Marketing to offer our customers a daily podcast. The podcasts themselves will give customers a real insight to what is happening at the event both onstage, backstage and from the audience’s point of view.’
The Podcasts will be uploaded every morning to the folk festival website (www.cambridgefolkfestival.co.uk) from Thursday 31st July until Monday 4th august containing interviews, news, and comments from festival goers
The Festival, now in its 44th year, plays host to k.d Lang, Billy Bragg, Seth Lakeman, Martha Wainwright, Levellers and many more from across the world and is taking place from 31st July to 3rd August. The event has now sold out.
