Events and Commerce lead – Full Time

Based out of our Needham Market HQ you will be responsible for the customer service and fulfilment of orders from all our e-commerce stores, the preparation of event kit and merchandise for events and the associated stock control. You will contribute to the business through safe working practices and working with the team to deliver efficient shipping and packaging practices.

We work in a sector which has been badly hit by the pandemic (events and hospitality). As a result, we are open to applicants who were working in these sectors when the pandemic started and who may not have direct experience for this role but are willing to learn and commit to the business. Attitude is everything for us.

Whilst the work is mainly based in Needham Market there may be times where you will be needed on location at events.

Type: Permanent, starting October 2021

Days: Monday to Friday although some weekend work will be needed at times.

Hours: 37.5 per week, usually from 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm.

Location: Needham Market, maybe some travel.

Salary: £20,000

Job role:

  • Support customers with their enquiries about orders and products
  • Take the delivery of goods and supplies
  • Pick and pack e-commerce orders for despatch
  • Prepare stock and kit for outdoor events
  • Carry out stock counts as and when required
  • Assist in any areas of the business where workload requires to deliver the business outcomes
  • Maintain housekeeping standards by clearing rubbish and making sure the workspace is tidy
  • Contribute to the development of products and packaging options
  • Actively reduce waste and contribute to make the business more sustainable
  • Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure the safety of yourself and others
  • Maintain professional working standards at all times

The role will involve regular physical activity including walking, bending, lifting above the head, standing for long periods and lifting weighty items. There is a lot of manual dexterity work and stairs. There are elements of working outside in all conditions when we are working at festivals or racetracks.

  • Driving of vehicles (Cars and Vans)
  • Some Anti-social hours

Operations Assistant – Part Time

Based out of our Needham Market HQ you will be working across the business to support our customers and the team in delivering the projects and services we offer. The role will include supporting our event preparation, e-commerce fulfilment and tour van hire areas.

You will contribute to the business through safe working practices and a positive attitude.

We work in a sector which has been badly hit by the pandemic (events and hospitality). As a result, we are open to applicants who were working in these sectors when the pandemic started and who may not have direct experience for this role but are willing to learn and commit to the business. Attitude is everything for us.

Whilst the work is based in Needham Market there will be a need to travel through delivering vehicles and equipment for events aswell as some possible work on site such as festivals and racetracks.

Type: Permanent, starting October 2021

Days: Some of the weekdays although some weekend work will be needed at times during Spring/Summer mainly.

Hours: 16 hours a week minimum but we expect this will be more.

Location: Needham Market, with some

Earnings: £9.50 per hour

Event Merchandisers– Casual (UK and Europe)

Neon Street Limited, a Needham Market based e-commerce and events company servicing the entertainment and motorsport industries are seeking (on an ongoing basis) casual merchandise sellers.

You will be involved in the selling of merchandise at events where you will be customer facing, dealing with queries, taking cash and card payments.

You will also help in the setup, count and take down for each event.

Work is based on the location of each event and we aim to offer work to sellers local to each event. This is casual work which is done on a freelance basis.
